17th Century – Coffee was first introduced to Europe through trade with Arabs in Venetian markets.
1902 – DeLonghi establishes its spares workshop in Treviso, Italy
1950 – DeLonghi becomes an Incorporated Company selling household appliances, and strongly commited to design and innovation
1970’s and 1980’s – Introduction of new electric household appliances, fast growth into international markets, acquisition program of various household appliance sectors
2001 – Acquisition of Kenwood, and Ariete catapult the company’s expansion and diversification plans to new heights.
2007 – Development of first DeLonghi fully automatic espresso machine.
